On the first Saturday of the month, we show an exciting new film of the classic Rudyard Kipling story about Mowgli and his animal friends (and enemies). It is a bit scary, so perhaps this movie is more for the 10 and up range. We start the film at 7:00 PM, September 3. Come a bit early, get your popcorn (free for the kids) and other treats (cheap!).
Upcoming in September? Two more movies:
Saturday the 10th: Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice
Saturday the 17th: Hello My Name Is Doris
There will be no film on the final Saturday of the month, due to scheduled major event for that evening, September 24, 2016.
Free movies most Saturdays. This next Saturday? It’ll be this:
Come join the fun on August 27 at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria. Inexpensive treats. Good company. We’ve got a big screen, a good projector, surround sound, and a license to show these movies. Have a request for a future showing? Stop by and make your preferences known!
(The monthly order runs like this: 1st Sat.: children’s movie (free popcorn for the kids!); 2nd Sat.: PG/PG-13 comedy or adventure, mostly family-friendly; 3rd Sat.: PG-13/R, sometimes for mature audiences only, and it could be anything, from drama to art film; 4th and 5th Saturdays: free forum.)
Yes. The film is licensed so we can show it free for the public. Stop on by. Chat with your neighbors. Then pipe down when the movie starts.
Except for the occasional laugh. Or scream…
Saturday, August 6; FUN Supper: 6:30pm; Film @ 7:00pm!
Remember: First Saturday movies are for the kids, and the popcorn is free!
